Q: What are the fees?

A: Proprietary Basis (for companies who are looking to put a group of their staff through the programme)

• £7,000 sterling payable to Royal Holloway, University of London for administration fees per registrant.
• And, course fees per one week module available upon request.

Open Module Basis (for individuals)

• £7,000 sterling payable to Royal Holloway, University of London for administration fees per registrant payable
• And, £1,000 sterling per one week module payable to Fugro Robertson Limited in advance of course delivery. (Note: participants must take 6 one week modules over a 3 year period to complete the qualification, therefore total fees are £13,000.)

Q: Does the course fee payable to Fugro Robertson Limited include accommodation and transport.?

A: No, the course fee is purely a professional fee and does not include accommodation at the course delivery location or transport to and from this location. It is up to each participant to make and pay for these arrangements themselves.

Q: Am I eligible for this course and what is the admission criteria?

A: You are eligible for this course if:

• You have undertaken some prior training at undergraduate level in the subject area or
• You have work experience in the oil and gas exploration sector.

Q: Can I carry out the course in another Country to those advertised?

A: This course can be delivered in two ways:

1. Open Course Basis
2. Proprietary Basis (i.e. per company/group of companies)

The training and examination can take place in any country, however our open courses will initially be offered in the UK only. We have plans to broaden this scope in the future. For a schedule of our UK based open courses please view our schedule.

Q: Is this an Honours Degree?

A: No, this is not an Honours Degree, this is a Postgraduate Diploma. A Postgraduate Diploma is a qualification that sits between a Bachelors Degree and a Masters Degree in the British University System. It does not have an Honours status.

Q: Which courses should I take?

A: It is your choice as to which course you want to take and which order, however if you are taking this on an open course basis you will need to complete your six chosen courses in 3 years and therefore the order may be restricted by the schedule.
