Source Rock Predicted from Logs

Fugro Robertson has developed a unique solution to the problem of identifying source rock sequences from wireline logs using neural network based software which is 'trained' using key pairings of geochemical datasets and logs.

This software enables the user to identify and quantify the richness and productivity of source rocks within particular basins without further geochemical analyses.
