Target
Previously supported by our sister company, Fugro Data Solutions, Target Petroleum Play Evaluation Tool is now supported by Fugro Robertson.
Target is a unique petroleum play evaluation tool combining geology and well information to analyse play performance, success and failure history, and volumetrics.
As a GIS application (but not requiring any other software to run), maps can be generated for a large range of queries, and queries can also be customised by users. Target can import and export data and shape files.
Information for all released exploration and appraisal wells includes the following:
- Operator (and Partners)
- Target Horizon and Type (Primary, Secondary, Serendipitous)
- Drilling Result (Success, Failure, Untested Hydrocarbons Column)
- Target Failure Analysis (Charge, Reservoir Quality, Seal, Trap etc)
- Drill Stem Tests
- Shows
- Reservoir Quality Comments
- Reserves
- Untested Hydrocarbons
- Field Sizes
In addition scouted data exist for all non-released wells.
Currently covering UK and Norway, Target will be extended to new geographies shortly.
