Fugro acquires Geolab Nor AS

Fugro has acquired Geolab Nor AS, established in 1984 and with its head office in Trondheim, Norway. The company specialises in supplying petroleum, geochemical and consultancy services to the oil and gas industry on a worldwide basis. Geolab Nor AS is one of the few companies worldwide with a proven track record in offshore surface geochemistry sampling and analysis.

Current management will stay in place and the company will be renamed Fugro Geolab Nor AS. The company has fifteen staff, revenues of approximately EUR 2.8 million and will be part of the Geoscience Division under the management and guidance of Fugro Robertson Ltd
