Exploration and Appraisal - October Open Workshop

Fugro Robertson is pleased to announce that its world-renowned 4 week Exploration and Appraisal Workshop is being offered as an open course this year at its facilities in North Wales. The workshop will run from 6th - 31st October and the professional fees per person for the 4 weeks will be £6,000.00 (excluding UK VAT). Travel to and from North Wales, accommodation and other expenses will be extra, to the account of attendees.

Workshop Description

This 4-week long, hands-on workshop programme utilises a real exploration dataset to assess the hydrocarbon prospectivity of a basin using various geological and geophysical data, including outcrop locations. Training will simulate new ventures/asset teams involved in a real exploration scenario. Picture your new employees working in a multidisciplinary team, enhancing their skills in:

• Project planning, management and integrated team work
• Recognition of petroleum systems
• Processes in play fairway mapping and prospect generation, evaluation and ranking
• Preparation of prospect dossiers

The programme is designed to raise the competence level and technical knowledge of the participants in a short period of time, improving their exploration skills. Fugro Robertson's experienced instructors will guide each team through individual components of a basin evaluation study.
