Fugro Robertson and PetroView

Fugro Robertson is pleased to announce its recent collaboration with Deloitte, which has resulted in Fugro Robertson's global basin outlines now forming an integrated part of Deloitte's PetroView® product range.

Fugro Robertson employs a process-based basin classification scheme, taking into consideration present day (or historic) basin-forming processes. There is no one universally accepted scheme, but Fugro Robertson is making a bid for its basin outlines to be used as the default. In world terms, Fugro Robertson's basin definition process is an attempt to honour petroleum systems as well as structural basin definitions.

Global basin classification is an ongoing process, and Fugro Robertson's continuously updated basin outlines are supplied to its clients annually.
