BG Energy Challenge

Fugro Robertson took part in the BG Energy Challenge for the first time this year. The event took place in July on our doorstep in North Wales and our team came a respectable 16th out of 44. In addition, our team was awarded the BG Energy Challenge Trophy for Most Innovative Fundraising Idea. We are continuing to raise money for CARE and SPARKS the sponsored charities. We have pledged to raise £8,000.

The BG Energy Challenge is an annual test of teamwork, ingenuity, skill and commitment, drawing support from a wide variety of companies in the energy sector and raising substantial funds for charity. Since 1996, worldwide BG Energy Challenge events have contributed over £4.5 million for charity

CARE International is a leading humanitarian organization fighting global poverty. Care provides emergency aid for survivors of war and natural disasters as well as providing long term support to some of the poorest regions.

Sparks is the children's medical research charity. Sparks sole remit is to fund research across the whole spectrum of paediatric medicine. Their goal is for all babies to be born healthy and stay healthy.
