Tellus contains a wealth of tabular data stored in either an Oracle database or a Personal Geodatabase. The type of data available ranges from attributes of Basin and Play parameters to detailed metadata about each spatial element.
The User interface allows ordered and categorized data at basinal or play level to be viewed quickly and easily. Alternatively, subscribers can access and query the data directly through the back-end database.
In addition to the Tellus dataset, subscribers can also receive access to the GIR(Geochemical Information Repository)*. This is an huge Oracle database comprising thousands geochemical analyses derived from rock, oil and seep samples.
This database is accessed via a simple ArcMap extension and provides numerous methods of viewing, charting and reporting the data.
