Global Fields
Global Fields is an ArcMap based New Ventures tool that uses specific field data to analyse the success and maturity of basins and plays for direct and analogue comparisons. Global Fields helps in making the decision of which basin or play to explore and includes the following main features and analyses:
- Rapid identification of significant plays in a basin.
- Active Play fairway derived for every proven play.
- Discovery curves.
- Reserves by Discovery.
- Field Size Distribution.
- Discovered to Date.
- Competitor Analysis.
- An expanding database currently holding over 15,000 Fields.
- Systematic Allocation of Reserves to Reservoir and Reservoir to Play.
- Three Updates during 2007 - April, August and December.
